Are you stuck for time or words to inspire action from your audience?

Even if you are a naturally-persuasive salesperson, or a marketer with endless rockstar ideas, you may dread writing the words for your marketing copy. A blank screen and looming deadline can send anyone into a panic. But, if your laboured text sounds like a corporate robot or smarmy and fluffy, it’s not your fault. Because copywriting isn’t simply just penning lines of decent English. It’s a conversation to build a relationship.

Good news … you don’t have to surrender to “good enough” or keep grinding at the keyboard.

Hi, I’m Lindsay. I’m a recovered journalist turned accidental record-breaking salesperson. I created Fan Club Marketing to help people like you. (Read the story about how I got here.)

Your words matter.

The fact is, your customers will spend 80% of their buying journey sifting through content online to determine who to trust before clicking or calling to connect. Buyers today want a mostly “seller-free experience” and will not reach out until they’re nearly ready to buy.

You can’t afford to rush or ignore how your message affects them.

Choosing the right words to stir hope and desire takes work. It requires you to step into your authentic and empathetic self, a tricky frame of mind to get clarity with when juggling other demands. Bolster your humanity and credibility online and become part of the dialogue happening in your customers’ minds.

Make customers out of the people who click with your brand with Fan Club Marketing.

Get started!

Four steps to make copywriting easy.

  • Call and Chat

Whether by phone or video, talk to Lindsay with the goal to share more about you and your unique business needs.

After the call, receive an email recap with an overview of goals, the scope of the project, your budget if known, and timing. You will also receive friendly strategic advice on other tactics that may also work for your audience, or fit a gap in the customer journey. We will talk about your creative assets and needs for designers etc.

Go to the next step and request a proposal with a statement of work.

  • Agree on Statement of Work

Confirm a meeting time to review the proposal. You will receive in writing pricing and timeline for deliverables requested.

Collaborate to fine-tune budget, add or subtract deliverables and get additional questions answered.

Receive a statement of work with details and a place for signatures. Once accepted a deposit is due to start the work.

  • Collaborate and Develop

Share any work that defines your brand and voice so that it is reflected in the writing and results. The goal is to stay true to your vision, mission and the personality created around the business. You’ll also share your target customer profile, customer data or branding documentation.

Next, we talk about the product or service that’s the subject of the copy, and collaborate in a brainstorming session to build your message, develop benefits, positioning, and other persuasive aspects of your offer.

  • Draft, Revise and Publish

Receive draft text and schedule a call to discuss feedback and revisions to fine-tune. Receive two rounds of revisions before a final version is provided.
